The 7 Things I Don’t Regret Buying
I try my best to buy intentionally, but as the seasons change, so do my tastes and maturity, leading to some closet turnovers. However, these items have stood the test of time. Each one serves a unique purpose, earning its place in my wardrobe instead of on the donate or resell pile.
Cashmere / Cozy Wool Sweaters:
Expensive-ish sweaters are my type of indulgence. It’s what you’ll realistically catch me in most of the fall & winter. Given I work 90% from home its what I reach for when I want comfort without sacrificing style.
A Good Trench Coat
My trench coat is a piece that works with any season (below 76) and any outfit. Ive worn mine to weddings, paired with a vintage Prada dress & to the movies over Br*ndy M*lville sweats. It’s polished even when you’re throwing it on last-minute.
Chic/Cutesy Lounge Wear
This one may seem dumb…but its on here because of the personality shift I have when i’m wearing my slobby, had since high school hoodie vs a cute little loungewear moment. It’s the sweet spot between feeling like you’re wrapped in a blanket and looking effortlessly put together. It’s the kind of outfit that lets you answer the door or run an errand without a second thought.
An Investment Heel / Pump in Black
A quality, classic black heel might seem basic, but it’s an absolute essential. I recently got a classic little Miu Miu Maryjane, pointed toe, kitten heel & I don’t even understand how I lived without them. You can of course choose from a variety of options depending on your budget, but investing in a designer pair that I'll cherish forever felt truly special. I can always count on them, whether jeans or a dress (& it never feels over or underdone).
Everyday bag
An everyday bag should be a balance of function and style. Something you can rely on day in and day out. When you find the right one, it becomes apart of you, & makes you wonder how you ever lived without it.
That Dress You Can Always Count On
This dress is your safety net for days when nothing else seems to work. It’s timeless, flattering, and always makes you feel pulled together without any extra effort.
Signature Frames
I had a signature pair of sunglasses for years, but they were stolen in November, and it felt like a piece of me was missing. I didn’t rush to replace them because I was still grieving their loss. I added several options to my TRR wishlist, but none felt right…until I found these vintage chocolate brown Chanels. Now, I’ve finally filled that missing piece of my style puzzle
