Falling for October: My Monthly Obsessions

My Most Worn - These were the constants in my closet rotation. As you can tell, tonally, most color repulsed me this month.

Accessories I can’t get enough of ( Brooches & Hats)

Monthly Muses ( from screenshots - color pairings/textures - the saved folder - things I saw out & about that made me tingly)

Event of the Month: I finally hosted a dinner party! I've dreamed of hosting little soirées for my friends for as long as I can remember. Nights where I could cook delicious bites, sip wine, and share long conversations over skinny cigs. Finally - I live in a space where I feel comfortable inviting people over. Though I stressed all week preparing the food, picking up flowers from the market, setting out crayons for everyone to doodle with, tidying up the house, and stocking up on drinks, none of that mattered in the end. I secretly enjoyed every bit of the chaotic planning! It was pure joy to see all my friends gathered in our home. Even though I have a few notes on what I could improve next time, I highly recommend throwing that party you've been dreaming of. MAKE IT HAPPEN!!

What’s on my wishlists

Health/Mental Recs

  1. Opal has genuinely changed my life. I am so addicted to my phone & I felt like I needed someone to take it from me just so I could think clearly. I have this constant need to be stimulated from the moment I wake up—whether by scrolling, playing music, listening to a podcast—anything to avoid being alone with my own thoughts. Now I use Opal to block my apps. I’ve set it to block ig, TikTok & YouTube every day from 5am to 10am so my brain isn’t instantly overloaded when I wake up.

  2. I just started Mediating/Manifesting & I did this guided one the other day if you need a cute little 10min refresh

  3. Go paint! Go doodle! Go scrapbook! Go mood-board with a magazine - Have some childlike creative activity & do it at least once a week.
